Passionate about ethical, sustainable & creative living I design and make jewellery centrally using recycled sterling silver, sea glass and beach pottery. Embracing patination and texture my jewellery is for those of you who enjoy a delicately weathered approach to accessories.

My jewellery is inspired by coastlines and gardens, literature and visual arts and the whimsical mystery of found objects. Each piece of sea glass and pottery has an unknown history, having at one time been useful, decorative or leftover from industry. Whether plate, glass, lamp shade, tea pot, pipe, lantern, cup, ornament, bowl or pot the glass and pottery has been discarded and found its way to the sea. The waves, rocks, sand and sea water combine to smooth the broken shards leaving weathered beauties along the shore. I love being part of a found object’s history; a curiously discarded, lost and broken item being revived into a piece of jewellery and setting off on a new adventure.

Having grown up in Northern Ireland, studied English and Fine Art in Wales and taught in England I have continued my tour of the UK, moving to the beautiful Scottish Borders in 2010. My husband Rich and I set up our home and studio not far from the sea which provides huge inspiration and material for our work.
