Hallmarking

Laura Johnson Jewellery conforms to UK hallmarking standards which proves the fineness of the silver used.

All items which contain 7.78 grams or over of silver will be hallmarked at Edinburgh Assay Office.

The hallmark will feature my unique registered maker's mark, a fineness mark confirming the precious metal used, Edinburgh Assay Office's castle mark and a date letter to show when the piece was hallmarked. Lighter items of Laura Johnson Jewellery can be hallmarked for a small additional charge; please contact me to arrange.
